A creative school holiday workshop for children 5-8yrs old.
What to expect:
They will be exploring shapes, patterns and features found in animals they admire and love.
Activities will include thinking about these animals symbolically and transforming them through drawing, cutting, pasting, and constructing.
The workshop takes inspiration from the artworks of South African artists like Cecil Skotnes, Sydney Kumalo and Hannes Harrs inspired by Africa and Inuk artists Kenojuak Ashevak and Kananginak Pootoogook, which will be shown and discussed as part of the creative process.
